Is ProBackup SOC 2 and GDPR compliant?
Yes. ProBackup is SOC 2 Type II certified as of May 2025. Audit reports are available on request through our Trust Center. We are also GDPR compliant, with all data stored exclusively in AWS data centres in Dublin, Ireland.
How is data encrypted and stored?
All backups are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, and stored in AWS S3 buckets in Dublin (eu-west-1). Each customer's data is logically isolated. Two-factor authentication is available on all plans; SAML-based SSO is included on Premium.
Can I control which users see which data?
Yes. Admins invite team members with per-platform permissions covering visibility scope (all data vs. only data the user can access in the source platform) and access level (View / Export / Restore). Premium adds advanced scope control to exclude specific workspaces, boards, or projects from the backup scope entirely.
